Annual Flapjack Challenge!!

Winnovation will be coming back to Winnebago High School’s cafetorium to host the annual Flapjack Challenge (otherwise known as the Pancake Breakfast) December 7th of this year!! The community will be able to view this event starting from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Flapjack Challenge welcomes the community to come by and watch the Winnovation students compete with 8 different robots. The students are spending around 8 weeks perfecting these 20x20x20 inch minibots to compete in Winnovation’s version of a water game: Water Tower Wipeout. Students learn how to communicate, manufacture, and plan with this opportunity.

Winnovation students are selling tickets for the Pancake Breakfast. You may buy tickets at the door. The tickets will cover the cost of the pancakes served in the morning. Pancakes will be $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. You may attend the event without a ticket. There is always an amazing basket raffle taking place, ranging from a new leaf blower to a Chicago Cubs basket. All proceeds will go towards the robotics team to support them for the next season.
